Still Gettin' the hang of this...

Ok, so I am still getting used to the whole blogging regularly thing. I have never journaled or anything where I wrote about anything on a regular basis. Anyway, I have just recieved some new stuff from Talbots and Forever 21 and Torrid, so hopefully I will have some outfit posts pretty soon.

So onto my next 'adventure': I am seriously considering cutting my hair. I have had basically the same hair style and routine for more than 10 years now. I really need to change it up. That said, I am so attached to my hair and afraid that if I cut it I won't like it or it will not look good on me. I have been trying to get it back to the length and health it was before I was out work for a while and had no maney (I was waiting way too long between relaxers and my hair got really damaged). Also I think the stress of grad school is making my hair shed more than normal. Anyway I wanted a change and all of these things are sort of prompting me toward actually doing it. So I will hopefully soon be setting out on this new 'adventure'. I don't know where my camera is so I will post some pics of how my hair looks later.

So Flyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!

I know you guys remember that song "I'm so fly yyy yy yyy". Well anyway I thought that was a great verse to start off my Adventure in Blogging!!! I know I am waaay late to jump on the blogging thing, but I had some serious issues with it. 1)Committing my thoughts to the internet for all eternity, umm not so ok with that. That's basically it. But I'm over that now, sort of. First things first, introductions. My name is Jessica Washington, 24 years old, plus size fashion lover, travel lover and totally awesome person (yes I am very modest, no, I really am). Occupation: grad school, though I do have a job (actually two jobs and I think I need to get a third) but I'll get to that later. Anyway I am writing this blog to document this new stage of my life I have decided to enter. I want to 'live life' (you will find that this is my catch phrase and my excuse to spend money) and experience new things. I am now looking at everything as an ADVENTURE!!! Yay! I will be trying some new things and also documenting me (and maybe my clothes/style) in these new ADVENTURES. I have recently realized that I have almost no photos of myself from recent years and this blog will help me to take photos. So on to the ADVENTURES. Not all of them will be real adventures, but they will be to me. So it's ADVENTURE TIME. Some of the stuff I will be doing will be going to fitness classes (not so adventurous but there will be a twist just wait and see), new stuff to try, trying new foods and restaurants, and what will be most popular is probably my adventures in shopping, makeup and hair, because I love all things that beautify. And other stuff. Pretty much anything could be and ADVENTURE as long as I remember to bring my camera and feel like I look awesome enough to take a photo and post. So Ciao for now (so 90's), JSW
