The Girl with the Iron Touch by Kady Cross
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I was surprisingly excited to find out there was a third book in the series since I was disappointed with the second one. From the cover and the description, this third addition to the series is supposed to be based around Emily, the genius scientist and inventor in this band of altered misfits. But like the previous book in the series I was a bit disappointed in the lack of focus on this supposed main character. While the storyline was very good and there are some surprising plot twists as well as some very juicy developments, I found myself wanting to know more and read more about Emily (who is pictured on the cover of the book). That said, I did enjoy reading the book- it was a fast read; and I also hope there will be another book in the series, even though the ending in this one could have been the closer to the series (however lame and completely satisfying). If you have read the other two books in the series, then you might as well read this one too.
